🎥Mental Health Webinar Series: Ciarán O’Driscoll 🎥

We’re excited to share the recording of DSxHE Mental Health Webinar with Ciarán O'Driscoll, Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology at UCL, and Programme Director of the Clinical Associate in Psychology course. Ciarán’s work bridges the gap between clinical psychology and data science, and in this talk, he explores how data analytics is transforming secondary care mental health services.

Ciarán has extensive experience teaching mental health professionals and working with international collaborators to develop new approaches for understanding mental health symptoms. He also works directly with NHS services, utilizing routinely collected clinical data to improve patient care.

In this session, Ciarán dives into how clinical data from secondary care mental health services can be leveraged to better understand treatment responses and improve the delivery of care. By using data analytics, mental health professionals can make more informed decisions, providing personalized treatment that’s tailored to individual patient needs.

The webinar is part of the Data Science for Equity Mental Health Webinar Series, aiming to explore how data science can address mental health care inequalities and enhance treatment. The series highlights how data can identify those most at risk and provide better care for underserved groups.
