Roll up, roll up! This month we'll be discussing Large Language Models and Emergency Medical Scenarios with our speaker Dr. Paulina Boadiwaa Mensah. 

Abstract: 

In this upcoming talk, we will explore the recent advancements and applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the healthcare sector, focusing on their potential as decision support tools in medical emergencies. Despite the wealth of data in healthcare, there's limited information on the real-world effectiveness of LLMs in resource-constrained settings.

Speaker Biography:

Paulina Boadiwaa Mensah is a Data Analyst and Medical Doctor whose vision is to channel AI to improve healthcare delivery globally and is pursuing the "How" in realising this vision. Currently, she is doing that in her work with the SnooCODE RED Development team as a technologist and in-house physician. She has work experience in computer programming, community health research, health data analysis, tech education and health journalism.
