The Genomic Data Diversity Initiative is an open source, community-driven project which aims to provide all the practical tools and resources that researchers, community leaders, clinicians and decision-makers in academia, industry and the public sector may need to ensure that the genomic projects they work on are as equity-enhancing as possible.

The initiative will be launch in September 2022, but between now and then we are:

• 🗄️ Sourcing and curating any tool we can find of relevance

• 🗣️ Speaking to as many people as possible to get our setup right

• 🌊 Bringing in our first wave of tool-contributing and community partners

We will be hosting 2 information sessions in August (they will be the same session repeated in order to cover multiple time zones and avoid holidays) with contributing partner organisations and those across the community with an interest in genomics/data/equity.
