About the event
Join researchers from across the AI health technology landscape for a panel discussion that dives deep into the world of participatory research - not as a box to tick, but as a dynamic journey of co-creation.
Participatory research means actively including the people affected by research as partners. In healthcare this may include patients, members of the public, carers, and professionals delivering health and care services.
This interactive online session brings together researchers from the STANDING Together project and a few special guests for a free-flowing discussion delving into the intricacies of participatory practices in healthcare AI research. What works? What doesn’t? And when research budgets are tight and time is limited, why should this be a priority?
During this session our guests will tell you about their experiences of participatory research, including the challenges they’ve faced and how they overcame them.
