About the event
Volunteer with Data Science for Health Equity (DSxHE)
Join us for our Data Science for Health Equity (DSxHE) Volunteer Open Call, where you'll learn more about our global community, the work we do, and the many ways you can get involved.
DSxHE brings together people from a wide range of backgrounds who share an interest in using data science to tackle health inequalities. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing and community-led initiatives, we aim to ensure that data-driven innovation improves health for everyone.
During this session, we'll introduce our mission and values, explore our subject themes, and explain the different volunteering opportunities available across the community. Whether you're interested in supporting events, communications, research, partnerships, or one of our specialist Themes, there's a role to suit a variety of skills, interests and levels of experience.
This event is open to everyone. You do not need to be a data scientist, researcher or healthcare professional to volunteer. We welcome students, early career professionals, experienced practitioners, people with lived experience, and anyone who is passionate about health equity and wants to contribute to a collaborative, inclusive community.
