About the event

This theme aims to champion health equity for children, young people, and families by supporting inclusive, collaborative, and data-driven approaches that place the child within the broader context of their family and environment.

This theme brings together people passionate about using data science to understand and address maternal, familial, and child health inequities. Our goals are to:

  • Connect researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and experts by experience

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and vibrant discussion

  • Build a strong, inclusive community

  • Amplify diverse voices in the data science and health equity space

  • Keep family and child health equity central to data science conversations

How to Get Involved

We welcome anyone with an interest in child and family health equity - whether you are an academic, clinician, policymaker, person with lived experience, or community advocate. If you’re curious, eager to contribute, or simply want to learn more, we’d love to hear from you! You can also check out our website!
